Thank you to everyone who came out and celebrated our Lake Woodlands grand opening! Together, we raised over $1,200 for Canopy, a local cancer survivorship center. Canopy offers programs and services that support the needs of those touched by cancer.
Alyssa was fortunate enough to tour this wonderful facility when presenting the check to Amanda Poole, the dedicated Canopy manager. Follow along below to see some of the activities they offer.
Canopy provides a comfortable gathering space for survivors to meet and support one another.
An onsite library that provides educational materials.
A massage therapy room for relaxation and individualized treatment.
A wig salon to help those coping with hair loss.
An onsite kitchen for cooking classes and gatherings.
Canopy offers activities such as yoga, tai chi, music, art, and dance therapy.
An activity center for children while they wait on their loved ones.
