Wear this amazing statement top to the office, as shown today, paired back to a stylish jacket and classic black pencil skirt. Then for those holiday parties that are just around the corner, pair it it back to a fabulous cocktail skirt for a dressy ensemble that will get you noticed. Outfit of the Day in BB Dakota & DEPT September 29, 2010

Be sure to balance your pieces if you have volume on top by going for a slimmer bottom or vice-versa. Here we are showing this cute printed DEPT tee showing off your wild side paired with the David Kahn jeggings. The hottest hue of the season, army green is fabulous in both of these pieces and we are loving the tonal look of these together. This fabulous leather jacket is a must have by BB Dakota with a classic look and shape but right on trend still for this season. Be hands free for a day of shopping or traveling with a cross body messenger bag like this one by High Fashion, another big style we are seeing all over right now. Outfit of the Day in Jade & David Kahn September 28, 2010

Transition your silk tanks into fall effortlessly by pairing them with some favorite fall staples. We just love how this Luii pleather bomber jacket pulls the orange tones out of this printed blouse from Jade. The flowy feminine top is given structure and sophistication when a classic bomber jacket is added as a topper.  Since we have a volumous top here we balance it out by pairing it back to our David Kahn jeggings. Add your favorite boots for a complete fall look and accessorize with a long layering necklace like the Marcia Moran Disc Necklace in gold. Outfit of the Day in Joy Joy & 7 For All Mankind Jeans September 27, 2010

We all know tunics look great over leggings and straight leg jeans, but today we thought we would use the arrival of our Ginger Trousers by 7 for all mankind to show another chic way to play with this closet staple. By layering this BB Dakota tunic over these trouser jeans we create a clean, straight line from hip to  floor making even the most petite in stature look super long and lean! We threw this little metallic printed, cropped trench by Joy Joy for a great transitional piece to complete the look. TIP: Notice the graduation of color from top to bottom. This draws the eye to all the right places. Lastly, we mirrored our breezy yet structured ensemble with a quilted, square shaped bag. All in all,  with this look you are ready for whatever is on your agenda today! For more information like this and other "Outfit of the Day" postings, visit FrenchCuffCo.com

Outfit of the Day in 360 and 7 For All Mankind Jeans on September 24, 2010

This fall there isn't a better way to layer than in a monochromatic fashion! We are seeing this look in so many editorials, so of course we wanted to bring it straight to our FCB clients! We've all been belting cardigans over denim for a few seasons now and will continue to this season, but may we present a new way to update this look?? By switching out blue jeans for a pair of bark colored straight legs by 7 for all mankind, we give this gray boyfriend cardigan by 360 cashmere a chic, new attitude! Topping of the look we added our taupe, braided waist belt and a gold chain, lady-like bag in...you guessed it, GRAY! This tone on tone look is pretty casual but so posh and we are loving it! TIP: Proceed with caution when creating this look. Ensure all your neutrals are found in the same color palette and vary in textures. ie: braided belt, smooth denim and heathered cashmere...For more information like this and other "Outfit of the Day" postings, visit FrenchCuffCo.com.

Outfit of the Day in Jade & Waverly Gray September 23, 2010

How do I love this top? Let me count the ways....untucked with jeans, tailored with trousers, under my favorite jacket, and the list goes on...
Feel pretty and put together in this floral tank by Jade! Today we are showing it back to our Waverly Gray trousers creating a delightful outfit perfect for brightening up your place of work! We added a modern twist by cinching the waist with an oversized, patent waist belt. This super soft, cotton topper by Its a Tee, is the freshest way to stay covered while continuing this stream lined look. Notice the twisting details along the waistline. They not only add interest but keep the fabric held back, allowing the belt to get some well deserved attention! TIP: By mixing in  darker shades of fall and adding chunky accessories, you slip your favorite summer tops into your fall wardrobe with ease! Outfit of the Day in Mesmerize & Pink Tartan, September 22,2010

Add a little sparkle to an everyday outfit or create a gorgeous holiday ensemble by simply adding Mesmerize's Embellished Boyfriend Blazer. We love how this blazer can take a simple outfit from drab to fab instantly. Glam-up your jeans and white t-shirt or complete your party look by layering on this amazing must have jacket. Today we have paired it back to Pink Tartan's black, bubble skirt and Notice's magenta, silk tank. While the purple provides the perfect pop, this metallic skinny belt by Hyde finishes the look seamlessly. Tip: This blazer shines on it own. Jewelry should be kept to a minimum for the most sophisticated approach. For more information about this and other "Outfit of the Day" postings, visit FrenchCuffCo.com

Outfit of the Day in CC Couture & Joseph Ribkoff on September 21, 2010

Take your statement jacket day-to-night, effortlessly. C.C. Couture designed this eye catching plaid taffeta cropped trench in tone-on-tone shades of black, grey, and silver.  The metallic threads running through the fabric and the shiny silver buttons on the epaulets and double breasted front are fun eye catchers.  The nipped in waist, set off by the top stitched self belt, balances the ruffled layered peplum hip line.  Wear this piece to work with your favorite black trousers. For Happy Hour or a cocktail party, pair this attention getting topper with Joseph Ribkoff's black banded pencil skirt. The fabric is a comfortable double knit in a sophisticated faille finish.  Complete this outfit with a strand or two of pearls and you are ready to go to any dressy occasion or entertainment venue.  Enjoy all the positive attention you"ll get. Tip: Peplum-waist styles are great for creating an hourglass silhouette by drawing attention to a narrow waistline.  For more information about this and other "Outfit of the Day" postings, visit FrenchCuffCo.com.

Outfit of the Day CC Couture & David Kahn Jeans on September 20, 2010

CC Couture brings us this cropped jacket in a deep plum double knit fabric that is so light and easy to wear.  The epaulet detailing at the shoulder and cuffs is military inspired, yet the jacket is super feminine with it's cascading  ruffle front.  Whether worn closed in a double breasted silhouette or opened in a flowing cascade, this jacket will be a fun fashion accent to add to your favorites for Fall.  We show it layered over our body conscious Last Tango  tank now and see it worn over a turtleneck later in the season.  Our David Kahn jegging (jean legging) in the deepest indigo hue completes the look in a fashion forward way. Denim leggings are a perfect pant to wear tucked into our "over the knee" black leather boots. Tip: You want your cropped jacket to be your statement piece so keep everything else simple. For more information about this and other "Outfit of the Day"postings, visit FrenchCuffCo.com.

Outfit of the Day in Fifteen Twenty & Last Tango September

Is she in a dress or isn't she??? When this sexy, marble dyed top by fifteen twenty arrived, we were compelled to create the perfect date night outfit! We love this top for her versatility in your closet. Today, we are showing it back to our Last Tango ruched pencil skirt, completing the look with our faux skin belt and metallic bangles for some added shine! Dare to wear this look with a super high pump for extra glamour.  Tip: This top frames a bold shoulder nicely. The proven way to wear this top is over a straight/skinny leg bottom. This creates a a more narrow waisted silhouette. Also, the ribbon detail which we've shown tied behind the neck can also be tied in a bow at the front of the top for a more feminine, playful look. Outfit of the Day in DEPT & David Kahn September 16, 2010

Excitement is in the air at FCB! New fall shipments are streaming in and we are inspired! Today we created a look featuring two highly talked about colors of the season, olive and gray. When colors are found in the same palette you can have a field day layering them for a rich, neutral story. We've chosen this tiny sequin topper, by DEPT to add a touch of sparkle. Proportion is key with this look, so we placed the belt at the waist to bridge the gap between trouser and cardi. Our David Kahn trousers are a classic staple that polishes any look off  flawlessly. Outfit of the Day in Nicole Miller and 360 Sweaters on September 15, 2010

Wear your stripes fearlessly. Mixing prints, patterns and fabrics can be scary, especially when working with horizontal stripes. However, we love how the bold striped pattern in this 360 Cashmere Madison Sweater works with the more subtle striped print in Nicole Miller's Asymmetrical Ruched Dress. Tying it together is this fabulous HYDE Silver-toned Skinny  Belt, also picking up on the horizontal theme. Complete this look with your opaque tights and Seychelles Lace-up Bootie or a fabulous OTK boot. You can take this ensemble day to night easily by simply shedding the sweater to reveal your sexy dinner dress. TIP: Vertical stripes are easy to wear, but horizontal stripes can make you appear broader or wider depending on the stripe pattern, size and placement. Outfit of the Day in 360 Sweaters & David Kahn on September 14, 2010

Wrap your arms around this super soft double breasted long cardigan by "360 Cashmere".  It feels so luxurious yet is so easy to wear.  We show it open and flowing over Dept's tuxedo front white tunic shirt.  Elise M's woven belt sets off a defined waistline.  Another more dramatic look has the cashmere cardigan buttoned up to form a sumptuous cowl neckline and the belt worn on the outside.  We see either of these looks worn over our super skinny David Kahn "jeggings", fall's hottest new denim fashion item. Outfit of the Day in Pink Tartan & Jade on September 13, 2010

Pink Tartan brings us back to the newly hot preppy look with its softly tailored pink and orange rope print button-front shirt. We love the hot pink rope buttons and comfortable jersey fabric. Paired back to this amazing ivory trouser by Jenne Maag, we created a work ensemble that  is appropriate for almost any office environment. We've added Jade's boyfriend-style cardigan to the mix to easily transition this ensemble toward fall and to give us that stylishly layered look. Accentuating the waist with a belt is always smart with these longer cardi's; pictured is HYDE's black patent skinny belt with gold-toned buckle. Add a strand of pearls and a cute ballet flat to complete this look. TIP: These longer-styled cardi's also look great over leggings or skinny jeans with a great pair of boots. Outfit of the Day in 360 Sweaters & David Kahn on September 10, 2010

Indulge in the epitome of luxury with this exaggerated dolman sleeve zip-front cashmere top by 360 Sweaters. For a casual lifestyle we strive for a carefree, dressed-down elegance that is as comfortable as it is stylish. This cozy cashmere laying piece is a great go-to for the fall and will coordinate so well with a full range of colors. We love how this army green long tank by Last Tango keeps things neutral and calm. These two tops look great paired back to David Kahn's Heidi Skinny Leg Jean. For accessories we would add a great gold-toned necklace OR big fun earrings. Then add your favorite driving shoe or boot to complete the look. TIP: As you know, when you carry so much fabric and volume on top keep the proportions balanced by wearing straight or skinny bottoms. Outfit of the Day in Pink Tartan & 360 Sweaters on September 9, 2010

Piece by piece this ensemble adds a bit of luxury to your daily life. "Boyfriend" styles have been trending strong for several seasons with this season being no exception. This extra long 360 Sweaters cardigan would look great casually back to your leggings or skinny jeans. Today, however, we have fashioned a work appropriate way to wear this trend by pairing it with Pink Tartan's blue pen-striped button-front shirt and Jenne Maag's straight leg trouser in navy. This ensemble would also look great belted with a skinny or wide belt in a bold or neutral color.  Add a  cute ballet flat or basic pump to complete this look. TIP: If you are petite, belt the waist and definitely were a heel so that you do not get lost in the sweater. Outfit of the Day in Joseph Ribkoff September 8, 2010

Unexpected elegance is what you will find in this Joseph Ribkoff Animal Printed Lace Top Dress. The proportions are perfect as the fitted, banded skirt balances out the more blouson 3/4 length dolman sleeve top. The peek-a-boo animal print lace is demurely sexy, while the body conscious skirt creates a beautiful silhouette. The embellished gold buckle adorning the waistband adds just the right amount of flare to this already eye-catching ensemble. TIP:  With the busy print at the top and gold buckle at the waist keep your accessories very simple and understated.
